Join the Town of Summerville Parks and Recreation Department for some Halloween Fun at our first ever Special Needs Halloween Dance at the Rollins Edwards Community Center!

Join the Town of Summerville Parks and Recreation Department for some Halloween Fun at our first ever Special Needs Halloween Dance at the Rollins Edwards Community Center! This event is open to people with special needs in middle and high school and their families and caregivers. This will be a fun evening filled with music and dancing from the talented DJ Nick from Low Country Entertainment.  There will be snacks, drinks and light refreshments for the participants and their families but if you have any dietary restrictions you may bring your own food. We will have a designated sensory space that is sponsored by Beyond Basic. They will provide some calming items for another needing a break from the music. Families are welcome to bring additional items from home if they would like.

How to Sign Up: All participants must be pre-registered for the event but their caregivers and additional families or friends are free of charge. All participants should plan to attend the event with at least one caregiver but you are invited to bring additional family members to join in on the fun also! Tickets can be purchased in advance for $4 per participant and pre-registration is encouraged as spaces are limited for this function.

Halloween costumes & attire are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED! We hope to see lots of participants and their families coming dressed! Masks and social distancing are encouraged but are not required for this event.

If you have questions please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 843-510-0005.
