General Application Information

The procedure for applying is as follows:

  • All Town of Summerville positions requires a completed employment application.
  • Applications are kept on file for six months after the original position applied for.
  • Do not include any attachments to your original application unless specifically requested.
  • Please do not contact us to check on your application. We will contact you if you are chosen for an interview.
  • Due to the large volume of applicants for multiple positions, we regret that we are unable to notify persons who are not selected for an interview.
  • If you are selected for an interview, you will be contacted usually within two to four weeks by telephone or email.
