Tee Ball & Baseball
Registration & Fees
Registration dates will be January 1-21, 2024.
- Town of Summerville Residents: $50
- Non-Residents: $70
Documents needed at the time of registration include a Birth Certificate or Military Identification, Proof of Residency, and Proof of Medical Insurance. These documents must be emailed to Tim Orvin, at torvin@summervillesc.gov, at the time of registration. Forms of payment include cash, check, and/or credit card.
Age Groups
Tee Ball age as of September 1, 2024. 8U Baseball age as of May 1, 2024.
- Tee Ball 4U COED (Ages 3-4)
- Tee Ball 6U COED (Ages 5-6)
- Coach Pitch 8U COED (Ages 7-8)
Play
Participants must provide their grey baseball pants and a glove. Metal cleats are not allowed in any age group. Participants will receive a game jersey and cap. Teams will be furnished with bats, balls tees, and other necessary equipment. Coach Pitch Baseball participants must provide their batting helmet with a mask.
Practices will start in March. Games will be played Monday through Thursday evenings and/or Saturday mornings beginning in mid-April and May at the Jerry Blackwell Sports Complex at Gahagan Park.

While the Town of Summerville Parks and Recreation Department does not currently offer youth baseball in all age groups, there are baseball leagues that play in Summerville.
