Movies in the Park: Wonder (PG)

The Town of Summerville invites you to bring your blankets and chairs out to Brown Family Park (in Nexton at Parkview Lane and Front Street) on Friday April 13 to enjoy Wonder (2017). This movie is rated PG. FREE Admission. 

Live music and children’s activities start at 5:30 p.m. Several food vendors will be onsite (Trolly Dolly Treats, CharlesTowne Kettle Corn, The Chillin Station H2O, Rolled Quesadillas LLC, Happy Thai Food Truck and Miracle’s Tasty Express). Movie starts AT DARK. 

General parking will be in the SCRA lot located off of Sigma Drive, a short walking distance from Brown Family Park; handicapped parking will be available in the spots that parallel the park. Glass bottles, tents and pets are NOT permitted at the event. 

Synopsis: A 10-year-old boy with a facial deformity attends school for the first time when he begins the fifth grade. With the support of his parents, he learns how to make friends and adjust to his new environment. Runtime 113 minutes.
