All construction in the Town of Summerville must comply with applicable building code requirements as shown in the following editions adopted by the Town:

Plan Reviews

In most cases, the maximum time required for residential and commercial plan review is three weeks. Inspections can usually be performed by the end of the following business day. The amount of time can vary due to work load, weather, etc. However, it is our policy to be as expedient and helpful as possible.

Dorchester County School District Fee

Effective August 1, 2009 the $2,500 Dorchester County School District Number Two impact fee will be collected on all new residential developments to include mobile homes, single family homes and apartments (Dorchester County ony).
